Individual Therapy

is an effort to identify and resolve issues.  It involves talking about your feelings, thoughts and behaviors and the things that are troubling you.

    This Therapy typically focuses on how your behavior is affecting you but can also include how what's going on is affecting other areas of your life and other relationships.

    • work with you to set goals or identify things that you would like to accomplish by working together.
    • work with you on different strategies to help you reach your goals.
    • help you change patterns of thinking or learn new skills or ways to behave.
    • give you homework, so that you can practice some of the things you are learning outside of the counseling session.
